ELECTED BOARD POSITIONS
President: The President shall preside at all meetings of CBPWFA. He/She shall also be responsible for the overall administration of the Association and act as spokesperson concerning any internal or external problems/conflicts. The President of CBPWFA is also expected to represent the Association at regular State meetings. The President is responsible for imposing and enforcing any disciplinary action voted on by the Board of Directors.
Vice President: The Vice President shall assist the President with his/her duties. In the absence or disability of the President, the Vice President shall perform the duties of the President. The Vice President shall also verify and oversee the medical training and certification of head and assistant coaches including the board members. Complete background checks for all coach candidates and board members. Will arrange for field use with the school district, Parks and Rec. Dept. as needed; represent CBPWFA on the school district and township field and facilities board.
Secretary: The Secretary records the proceedings of all meetings, prepares the minutes and sends out the meeting notices (with a copy of the minutes from the previous meeting and a copy of the agenda) no later than two days prior to the meeting date. The Secretary will maintain all other records of the program, except financial records.
Treasurer: The Treasurer collects and disperses all funds, prepares budgets, reports on the status of the funds at every meeting and maintains all financial records. The Treasurer will work in conjunction with the Vice President to ensure account accuracy. All monies collected will be counted and documented by the Treasurer with at least one other Board Member present.
The TPMLR is responsible for the scheduling of volunteer personnel for all home games and special events and will also make sure that league handouts make it to Team Parents for timely disbursement. The TPMLR is responsible for the collection of paperwork from each participant as well as the preparation of all certification books thru the Team Parent Network. The TPMLR is responsible for figuring the grade point average for all participants in CBPWFA as well as filing all necessary paperwork for scholastics at the State, Regional, and National level utilizing the Team Parent Network. The TPMLR will act on behalf of members to address any issues brought forth by the members or thru the Team Parent Network. The TPMLR will assist the members in every way possible to address the member’s issues and concerns. The TPMLR shall prepare all materials for pre-registration; maintain pre-registration information and provide it to the board as needed; administer the registration book; coordinate registration events; oversee annual team book verification including arranging for photos and obtaining necessary signatures. At the end of the term of office, all papers, books, documents and other records of property of the CBPWFA which may have come into his/her possession or have been compiled or created during the term of office must be turned over to the successor.
Football Coordinator: The Football Coordinator oversees the football part of the CBPWFA program and acts as a liaison between the coaches and the Board of Directors. The Football Coordinator shall oversee the compliance of all head coaches to the standards and coaching methods set forth by the board. The Football Coordinator shall submit candidates for Head Coaching positions to the Board of Directors for approval. Also, the Football Coordinator will schedule scrimmages for all CBPWFA teams and will set all of the football rosters, coordinate coaching clinics, equipment training, and conduct coach candidate interviews.
Fundraising Coordinator: The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the activities needed to raise the funds required to cover the expected budget for the year. All fundraising is to be reviewed and voted on by the Board of Directors.
Roster Software/Media Coordinator: The RSMC is responsible for maintaining a team web site. The RSMC is responsible for forwarding information to the local media and to CBPWFA members. The RSMC will handle all registration and certification paperwork, rosters, and make necessary changes to said rosters and maintain all player files for CBPWFA.
Cheerleading Coordinator: The Cheerleading Coordinator oversees the cheering part of the CBPWFA program and acts as a liaison between the cheer coaches and Board of Directors. He/She is responsible to report to the Board of Directors all business of the cheering program. The Cheerleading Coordinator shall submit candidates for Head Coaching positions to the Board of Directors for approval. Also, the Cheerleading Coordinator will set all of the cheerleading rosters.
APPOINTED COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSONS:
The following Appointed Committee Chairpersons are non-voting and may be held by an elected board member.
Merchandise Manager: The Merchandise Manager will be responsible for coordinating the sale of team gear thru area merchants and at games for the purpose of raising money for CBPWFA.
Field Manager: The Field Manager is responsible for coordinating the field preparation before each home game.
Equipment Manager: The Equipment Manager is responsible for the organization of the equipment room, overseeing the handout and collection of all football and cheerleading equipment belonging to CBPWFA and preparing an equipment inventory and recommend new equipment purchases for the following season in the form of a budget to present to the Board of Directors for discussion/approval on or before the annual meeting.
